Dr. Charles Moore, M.D.

Dr. Charles H. Moore received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas and interned under Dr. Michael DeBakey at Methodist Hospital in Houston.

He was previously Surgical Director at Christus Transplant Institute in San Antonio, as well as Clinical Professor at the University of Texas in San Antonio, and is currently co-chair for the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine and Surgery. In addition he serves on the Executive Committee Board for Christus Spohn Health System, Corpus Christi, Texas. Dr. Moore’s current interest includes thoracic, cardiac and vascular surgery; and he has received advanced training in the treatment of venous insufficiency and varicose veins..

Steve Springer PA-C

Steve Springer is a Physician Assistant graduate of UTMB-Galveston in 1998, which included rotations in Geriatric, Emergency, Family and Pediatric medicine, as well as Orthopedic and General surgery. His practice experience includes 4 years of Internal Medicine during which patient care included clinic, hospital inpatient (acute and rehab), as well as extensive long term care (nursing home).

In addition, Mr. Springer has 7 years experience in Orthopedic medicine which included clinic and surgical care involving disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Prior to attending UTMB Mr. Springer was employed by Syntex as a pharmaceutical representative with a territory based in Corpus Christi. Undergraduate degree with a BA in History from the State University of New York at Binghamton, NY. He has been a resident of Texas since 1982 and has been a member of the US Army Reserves since August of 2000.
